A reference for learning French in Pristina since 2004!

The Alliance Francaise in Pristina is a local NGO that is part of a global network of 812 local associations of common law in 136 countries.

The French Alliance in Pristina is a unique place with a French-speaking environment, where you can read French magazines, watch movies and have fun by speaking French.

Located in downtown Pristina, next to the cafe Dit’ e Nat’, AF Pristina consists of an area of ​​200 m² which includes the library, five classrooms and  the administration. This place is specially designed for its mission of spreading the French language and its culture.

Furthermore, the Alliance Francaise of Pristina has a room in the Department of French at the Faculty of Philology in the University of Pristina. This room is dedicated to the students of French, where they can find a literary library fitted to their curriculum, and meet occasionally for the Alliance Francaise events.

All Alliances Françaises work towards three essential tasks:

  • Offering French classes for all, both in France and abroad

  • Spreading awareness of French and Francophone culture

  • Promoting cultural diversity

AF Pristina has over 300 students attending quality French classes in a friendly environment.

The Alliance Francaise Pristina also organizes typical French cultural events such as the Francophonie, Film Week, Beaujolais, Bastille Day, exhibitions,…

The Alliance Francaise in Pristina is the only center in Kosovo authorized to pass the DELF and DALF Exams and the TCF in partnership with the ICRP (International Centre for Educational Studies).

With a library with over 3000 books, the French Alliance in Pristina offers a quality environment for learning French in an atmosphere that is both friendly and studious.
